2004 - World's First Bluetooth Headset
Cardo creates a new reality with the world's first motorcycle Bluetooth headset.
2005 - World's First Built-In FM Radio
Scala Rider FM introduces built-in FM radio to let riders keep on top of the news. Also introduces the first automatic volume control, to ensure the best sound at any speed.
2007 - World's First Rider-To-Rider Intercom
Q2 is the first true rider-to-rider long-range intercom. It connects two riders over a distance of up to 700m / 0.45mi.
2009 - World's First Long-Range Intercom
Cardo stretches the limits of what is possible with Bluetooth by creating the G4: the world's first 1.6km / 1mi intercom. Also the first to offer internet firmware upgrades.
2012 - World's First Music Sharing
The G9X introduces music sharing over Bluetooth with the most fully featured communicator of its time. Cardo realises that Bluetooth has reached its limits and moves to a completely new technology.
2015 - World's First Mesh Communicator
In a move that still resonates today, Cardo revolutionises the world of motorcycle communications and introduces the world's first mesh communicator - the Packtalk. Powered by Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) technology, the Packtalk leaps beyond the constraints of Bluetooth to connect groups of up to 15 riders with no hassles, no frustration, and no time wasted.
2018 - World's First Natural Voice Operation
To help you keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the bars, Packtalk Slim and its twin brother - the Packtalk Bold - introduce operation via an always-on Natural Voice technology. They are also the first to interact directly with "Siri" and "OK Google".
2019 - World's First Premium Sound
Riders around the world ask for better audio, so Cardo go to the professionals. Partnering with the audio experts at JBL, the Freecom 4+ and the Packtalks become the world's first motorcycle communication systems to pack the ultimate audio experience with Sound by JBL.
2021 - World's First Over-The-Air Software Updates
Realising that updating communicator software via computer cable and WiFi dongle is cumbersome and unreliable, Cardo introduce the Spirit line of communicators: the first over-the-air software updates straight from the Cardo Connect App.
2022 - World's First Air Mount
The Packtalk Edge introduces the second generation of Cardo's successful Packtalk line with a magnetic Air Mount that attaches to the helmet with a snap... and stays there! So simple, so secure.
